His Blue Point Himalayan cat, Jazz, was a somewhat willing model knowing he'd get treats afterwards. The medium used was ink and wash on hot press (slick) paper. The red 'chop mark' was inspired by his Tortoise Shell Emily B. who, filling her paws from his palette, walked across a painting he was working, adding her imprimatur to my work in progress.
